Senior Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality technical support to appointed experts on various commissions
• Carry out detailed structural modelling and advanced analytical calculations
• Review technical documents, drawings, and project records
• Attend site visits and inspections
• Undertake independent technical research
• Assist in coordinating project information and managing workflow
• Contribute to the preparation of clear, well-structured technical reports
• Collaborate with the Civil and Structural team to deliver expert-level insights

Requirements

• MSc or MEng in Structural and/or Civil Engineering
• Chartered Engineer status (CEng) with membership of ICE or IStructE
• 8+ years of experience in structural design (reinforced concrete and structural steel)
• Strong technical capability in structural analysis and proficiency with relevant software
• Knowledge of British and European codes
• Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in site inspections, refurbishment, or remedial works design
• Knowledge of structural fire engineering
• Exposure to technical disputes or forensic investigations
• Flexibility to travel, including to the Middle East
