Senior Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering on custom modular systems across a multi-site portfolio from design through installation
• Design and engineer structural steel frameworks and modular systems to project requirements and industry standards
• Perform static, dynamic, and seismic calculations for modular frames, stacking, lifting, rigging, and transport load cases
• Manage external structural consultants and modular manufacturers
• Coordinate with civil and MEP engineers to ensure technical alignment
• Develop modular structural standards and connection details for productized builds

Requirements

• Experience leading structural design of modular, prefabricated, or skid-based systems
• Proficiency running static, dynamic, and seismic analysis in ETABS, RISA, or RAM
• Experience managing modular manufacturers and external consultants
• Ability to coordinate across civil, MEP, fabricators, and GCs
• Focus on repeatable systems and connection details rather than one-off buildings

Preferred Qualifications

• PE license
• Experience with modular or prefab data center or industrial systems
• Expertise in steel connection design
• Experience in transport and rigging engineering
• Experience with productized build programs
