Senior Structural BIM Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM coordination and manage project data sets, workflows, and structural BIM activities for complex multi-discipline projects.
• Take technical ownership of project BIM data sets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate structural BIM activities with Architectural, MEP, and Infrastructure disciplines to ensure seamless integration.
• Manage model federation, clash detection, issue tracking, and coordination workflows.
• Perform model audits and quality checks to verify accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
• Create federated models and lead clash-detection/resolution sessions, including chairing coordination meetings.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 19650, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and client-specific BIM standards.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and training to BIM Coordinators, Modellers, and Technicians.
• Present innovative BIM systems and workflows to clients and design team members.

Requirements

• 10-12 years of professional experience in BIM coordination.
• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Expert-level proficiency in Revit and Navisworks.
• Proficient in ACC, CDE platforms, and Dynamo for automation.
• Demonstrated experience leading BIM coordination on complex, multi-discipline projects.
• Proven experience with GCC projects and regional industry standards.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM E-Submission procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, or healthcare projects.
• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants.
