Senior Strategy Manager, Convergence & Signature Programs

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery for a portfolio of capital-funded convergence initiatives, from discovery and requirements through to launch and sustainment
• Serve as the business prime and subject matter expert, bridging the gap between technical CIO delivery teams and business stakeholders
• Build and maintain a prioritized 12-month program roadmap, ensuring cross-functional alignment with channel, marketing, and enabling teams
• Manage capital program activities, including budget tracking, spend forecasting, and reporting on scope and benefits
• Develop program governance artifacts such as status reports, risk/issue logs, and decision registers for senior leadership visibility
• Lead cross-functional workshops to define requirements, resolve dependencies, and align on operating models
• Proactively identify and manage program risks, providing recommendations to leadership to maintain momentum

Requirements

• Proven track record of driving complex, multi-workstream initiatives to completion within a large, matrixed organization
• Ability to lead through influence and align cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
• Strong ability to manage ambiguity and translate complex information into clear plans and executive-quality communications
• Data-driven decision-making skills with experience building business cases or program rationales
• High degree of independence and technical inquisitiveness to own solutions as a business prime

Preferred Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on program or project management experience in an enterprise environment
• Experience navigating both modern and legacy technology platforms
• Knowledge of TELUS's product, channel, and technology landscape
• Familiarity with capital planning, business case development, and cost assessment processes
• Experience with convergence, platform migration, or billing/rating programs in a telecom environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in business, engineering, technology, or marketing
• PMP, Agile, MBA, or Process Management certifications
