Senior Strategy Analyst

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize credit strategies across marketing, underwriting, fraud, and collections
• Own policy development, testing, rollout, and post-implementation monitoring
• Analyze portfolio performance using SQL, Python, and BI tools to identify trends and risks
• Build and evaluate test-and-learn experiments such as A/B tests and DOE
• Partner with Data Science on model development and performance assessments
• Prepare and present recommendations to senior leadership and quarterly business reviews
• Mentor junior analysts and establish best practices in data analytics

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in an analytical or quantitative field (Math, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science)
• 3+ years of experience driving analytical projects and insights
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience using Python for analysis
• 2+ years of experience with advanced Excel or Google Sheets analytics tools
• Demonstrated experience in data visualization and drawing business-relevant conclusions
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience in complex problem solving within financial services, consulting, or credit bureaus
• Hands-on experience with credit bureau, alternative data, and behavioral performance data
• Deep understanding of sub-prime credit dynamics
• Exposure to collections strategy or recovery optimization
