About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead consultation and strategic planning processes for the flagship Sustainability Pathways program with senior and divisional leaders
- Drive institution-wide efforts to accelerate the integration and growth of co-curricular and curricular sustainability programming
- Design and facilitate sessions with senior leaders to develop actionable recommendations for program expansion
- Deliver compelling presentations to institutional stakeholders to establish cooperative relationships and cultivate support
- Assess integration needs across different divisions and units to provide targeted curricular and programmatic interventions
- Manage a portfolio of strategic initiatives and special projects with significant institutional impact
- Create and implement reporting processes to monitor the implementation of strategic plans
- Serve as an authoritative resource for stakeholders seeking development and design advice
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (sustainability, education, project, or change management preferred)
- 8-10 years of experience in progressively senior roles, preferably within a large university or distributed organization
- Demonstrated leadership in developing and delivering institutional or programmatic strategies
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-divisional partnerships and advise senior executive leaders
- Experience in curriculum development and design within a university environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Power BI
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and public speaking skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with academic programming enterprise systems (e.g., ROSI)
- Experience in change management and pedagogical innovation
- Knowledge of U of T divisional structures and academic governance
