Senior Strategist - APAC

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze primary consumer research including customer interviews, focus groups, and surveys to uncover cultural nuances in Asian markets.
• Translate raw research findings and performance data into culturally relevant narratives and actionable communication strategies.
• Author clear, sharp, and inspiring creative briefs that turn complex consumer insights into simple propositions for creative teams.
• Act as a strategic guardian during the production process to ensure creative work remains on-brief and culturally accurate.
• Partner with analysts to design creative testing frameworks, including pre-testing and live A/B testing, to optimize future campaigns.
• Collaborate with creative, media, and regional teams to ensure consistent strategy execution across markets like Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, and India.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a Creative Strategist, Planner, or Insight Lead.
• Hands-on experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research (writing discussion guides, moderating interviews, setting up surveys).
• Deep cultural and digital fluency regarding the landscapes of Japan, Southeast Asia, or India.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and campaign measurements into powerful ideas.
• Extensive experience writing high-performing creative briefs for various media channels.
• Demonstrable experience managing creative agencies or in-house teams.
• Understanding of the full marketing funnel and driving customer acquisition within a fintech or tech environment.
