Senior Strategic Communications Consultant

Responsibilities

• Develop effective scientific and corporate communications strategies aligned with client business objectives
• Lead, motivate, and inspire account teams to deliver high-value communication programs and projects
• Build and maintain strong, peer-to-peer relationships with senior pharmaceutical and biotech executives
• Produce high-quality strategic content, including scientific platforms, narratives, messaging, and senior leader presentations
• Drive business growth through organic account expansion and the development of new business proposals
• Manage project finances, including accurate cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning
• Provide expert counsel to clients by interrogating briefs and offering evidence-based solutions

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare communications, specifically within public relations, medical communications, or scientific communications
• Proven experience in strategic communications planning and client relationship management
• Strong background in producing high-level scientific or corporate communications content
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership, mentorship, and delegating within account teams
• Proficiency in financial planning, management, and forecasting for agency-style projects
• Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotech industry landscape
