Senior Statistician II

Responsibilities

• Provide statistical expertise for complex design and interpretation for clinical programs, regulatory submissions, and commercialization.
• Develop Statistical Analysis Plans (SAP) for complex studies and project deliveries.
• Perform modeling and simulation to inform design decisions and the development of decision criteria.
• Analyze, interpret, and communicate the results of complex studies to internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to regulatory submissions, including the specification of overview documents and responding to regulatory questions.
• Act as a coach and guide for less experienced statisticians in the production of analysis, graphics, and study reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve methodology, study design, and delivery processes through statistical innovation.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics (with a substantial statistical component), or a recognized equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical development, data analysis, and interpretation.
• Proficiency as a statistical programmer using SAS and R.
• Proven experience in the design, analysis, and reporting of clinical studies across multiple settings.
• Strong knowledge of key technical and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
