Senior Station Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee all safety, quality, performance, and people development for Amazon Logistics Delivery Station operations
• Manage and lead a team of Operations, Area, and Shift Managers to meet and exceed business objectives
• Drive vision for the station team through quality initiatives, process changes, and lean methodologies
• Problem-solve to close performance gaps and manage day-to-day relationships with multiple Delivery Service Providers (DSPs)
• Execute talent plans including acquisition, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement
• Present operational metrics regularly to the senior leadership team
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Finance, HR, IT, and Engineering to secure resources for site initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 7+ years of direct management experience, including salaried, hourly, and agency workforces
• Proven experience in logistics, fulfillment, distribution, or a similar manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated track record of delivering financial and performance results in high-pressure environments
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and lean techniques
• Strong analytical capability with a track record of using data to solve operational problems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility to work various hours, including overnights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field
• MBA preferred
• Experience working in a startup environment
• Ability to handle changing priorities and exercise good judgment in stressful situations
