Senior Staff Specialist Procurement

Responsibilities

• Lead company-wide procurement of spare parts, consumables, and maintenance services for semiconductor production equipment across Asia, Europe, and the USA
• Drive strategic supplier selection, improvement, and negotiation of procurement contracts, volume agreements, and logistics contracts
• Lead negotiation activities and cost-down initiatives in collaboration with technical experts and site procurement representatives
• Conduct procurement market analysis and share best practices across global manufacturing facilities
• Act as a key member in cross-functional teams for cost reduction and product improvement programs
• Utilize state-of-the-art negotiation processes and tools, including e-auctions, TCO, and game theory
• Manage activity and result reporting for procurement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a high-tech, capital-intensive environment
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP/BW
• Business fluent English; German language skills are beneficial
• Willingness to travel overseas (approximately 2-3 trips per year)
• Proactive approach with strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the wafer foundry, front-end equipment, or semiconductor industry
• Education as an industrial technologist
