Senior Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance Java applications using microservices and AI development tools
• Build and optimize cloud-based applications leveraging AWS services including ECS, EC2, SQS, DynamoDB, and RDS
• Lead architectural decisions and advocate for engineering best practices while remaining hands-on in development
• Collaborate with product managers and DevOps engineers to define system requirements and deliver software solutions
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges to ensure system efficiency, reliability, and scalability
• Mentor and guide less experienced developers to foster continuous learning

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience (J2EE, Spring, Hibernate)
• Strong experience with AWS services (ECS, EC2, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, RDS) and Infrastructure as Code
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases including design, scaling, and optimization
• Proven experience designing microservices using Spring Boot and Docker
• Proficiency in Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch
• Bachelor's in Computer Science with 10+ years of experience, or Master's with 8+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with Agentic AI and MCP
• Deep understanding of core AI principles and fundamentals
• Strong analytical thinking and debugging skills
