Senior Staff Software Engineer-Frontend

Responsibilities

• Define and drive frontend architecture across the customer purchase journey
• Build high-quality, performant customer-facing experiences end-to-end
• Own frontend performance and reliability metrics including Core Web Vitals
• Lead the evolution of shared component libraries and design systems
• Partner with product and design to shape interaction patterns and UX decisions
• Drive cross-team frontend initiatives and establish engineering standards
• Conduct deep code and design reviews and author architectural decision records
• Mentor and grow senior frontend engineers
• Champion accessibility, inclusive design, and pragmatic AI-assisted development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 12+ years of frontend engineering experience with senior staff-level scope
• Deep expertise in WebGL, GSAP, Framer, and Astro
• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript
• Proven experience evolving component libraries or design systems at scale
• Mastery of frontend performance, rendering strategies (SSR, SSG, CSR), and bundle optimization
• Deep understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Track record of leading technical strategy and influencing leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building AI/ML platform foundations or developer AI tooling
• Experience in automotive, mobility, retail, ecommerce, or digital consumer products
• Experience building multi-tenant platforms and shared enterprise services
• Full-stack experience including micro frontend architecture and mobile platforms (iOS, Android, React Native)
