Senior Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an engineering team delivering runtime enforcement outcomes
• Establish single-source-of-truth scope, operating models, and durable mechanisms for enforcement
• Lead multi-year, multi-team initiatives for Unity Catalog enforcement across compute types and engines
• Introduce tools for greater automation and operability of services
• Prevent and investigate production issues using deep technical experience
• Plan and lead complicated technical projects involving multiple internal teams
• Mentor others, lead sprint planning, and delegate work as a technical team lead

Requirements

• 15+ years of industry experience building and supporting large-scale distributed systems
• Extensive experience building and maintaining distributed systems
• Security-first mindset
• Experience with cross-org leadership in ambiguous, incident-heavy environments
• Proven ability to drive company initiatives towards customer satisfaction
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related major, or equivalent experience
