Senior Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for BMC firmware architecture and stack strategy across current and future platforms
• Lead BMC bring-up on new server platforms including kernel, U-Boot, and device tree management
• Manage technical relationships with ODM and OEM partners to drive prototyping and production readiness
• Build BMC-driven telemetry and observability for fleet operations and SRE stacks
• Hire and scale the BMC engineering team while setting engineering standards

Requirements

• 8+ years of firmware engineering with deep hands-on BMC experience
• Expertise with production BMC stacks like OpenBMC or AMI MegaRAC
• Strong C/C++ on embedded Linux and familiarity with IPMI, Redfish, and PLDM protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with ODM/OEM partners on BMC firmware
• Familiarity with Yocto / BitBake build systems
• Experience with BMC security including secure boot, RoT, and SPDM
