Senior Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of scalable, resilient, and high-performance software solutions aligned with the Crusoe Cloud roadmap
• Provide technical leadership across multiple teams to foster innovation and engineering excellence
• Define and evolve architectural standards and best practices for long-term maintainability
• Act as a mentor and multiplier for engineering talent through coaching and design reviews
• Lead cross-functional initiatives between engineering, product, and infrastructure teams
• Architect, build, and evolve Kubernetes operators and controllers

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with expertise in Systems Engineering and large-scale distributed systems
• 3+ years of production-grade programming experience in GoLang
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and Linux Engineering, including performance optimization
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and complex systems-level challenges
• Experience with Terraform and GCP preferred
• Strong understanding of Argo, CI/CD, and Automated Testing pipelines
• Experience designing and operating large-scale systems similar to GKE or EKS
• Exceptional communication skills to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
