Senior Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own platform-wide performance engineering and establish consistent benchmarks
• Architect platform domains for long-term scale, resiliency, and fault isolation
• Drive operational excellence by automating processes and reducing on-call noise
• Provide cross-domain technical leadership across Control Plane, Storage, and Data Pipelines
• Influence technical decisions with adjacent infrastructure teams
• Collaborate with product leadership to define roadmaps and technical milestones
• Mentor senior engineers and build systems that uplevel the entire team

Requirements

• Deep expertise in designing and operating large-scale distributed systems
• Proficiency in Go or a modern compiled language
• Proven track record in performance engineering and profiling
• Experience in customer-facing on-call rotations and incident elimination
• Ability to influence technical decisions across organizational boundaries
• Experience scoping ambiguous problems with product and engineering leadership
• Strong ownership and proactive problem-solving mindset
