Senior Staff Product Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own product yield, quality, and manufacturing performance for key products in high-volume production.
• Drive yield improvement initiatives through data analysis, statistical methods, and systematic debug of SORT, Final Test (FT), and System-Level Test (SLT).
• Lead manufacturing and quality excursion investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and production ramps through characterization review and manufacturing readiness assessments.
• Develop automation, scripting, and AI-assisted solutions to improve engineering productivity and yield monitoring.
• Collaborate with Design, Test, Quality, Reliability, and Operations teams to resolve technical challenges.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• 8+ years of semiconductor product development or yield engineering experience.
• Expertise in yield analysis, statistical modeling, and DOE.
• Proficiency with engineering data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, JMP, or Excel.
• Experience with semiconductor test methodologies and DFT features including SCAN, MBIST, and JTAG.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical leadership and experience mentoring engineers.
• Proven experience in excursion management and production disposition.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted tools and automation workflows to enhance decision-making.
• Strong ability to present technical findings and risk assessments to senior management.
