Senior Staff Mixed Signal Verification Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize digital multiphase voltage regulators.
• Perform gain/phase margin and stability analysis, and design robust loop compensation.
• Model and simulate regulator behavior (steady-state and transients) using Simplis, MATLAB, Simulink, or SystemVerilog.
• Define PWM modulation, phase-management, current sensing, and ripple minimization strategies.
• Model, implement, and verify control logic using SystemVerilog/Verilog.
• Collaborate across analog, digital, and mixed-signal teams to validate designs via small-signal and time-domain analysis.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10+ years of experience in power electronics, control systems, or digital multiphase regulation.
• Deep understanding of feedback control, Bode/Nyquist, and stability criteria.
• Strong DSP fundamentals applied to digital power control.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog/Verilog for RTL design and verification.
• Proven modeling skills including behavioral, small-signal, and system-level modeling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with UVM (Universal Verification Methodology).
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python scripting.
• Hands-on experience with multiphase converters, PWM schemes, and transient optimization.
