Senior Staff Mixed-Signal IC Architect

Responsibilities

• Create specifications for a wide variety of mixed-signal integrated circuits in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and industry partners.
• Represent and advocate for Renesas in industry standards organizations such as JEDEC.
• Review proposals from standards organizations and collaborate with internal teams to align on technical stances.
• Prepare and present proposals to standards organizations to recommend new device definitions or changes to existing industry standards.
• Create and maintain internal specification documents, working closely with technical writers to ensure accuracy.
• Deliver presentations to clearly communicate Renesas’s position to external audiences.

Requirements

• Extensive experience architecting mixed-signal designs and writing device-level or sub-system specifications.
• Fluency in both analog and digital ASIC design methodologies.
• Proven experience within the DRAM Memory industry.
• 10+ years of direct experience in ASIC/IC design or architecture.
• Experience working with or within JEDEC standards.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including public speaking experience.
• Proficiency with Adobe FrameMaker, Visio, and Illustrator.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent (with 10+ years of experience) OR a Bachelor's degree in the same fields (with 15+ years of experience).
