Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive architecture, design, and delivery of complex mechanical systems for MOCVD and related deposition platforms
• Guide design decisions across vacuum, thermal, and precision mechanical systems
• Establish and advance best practices in DFx (Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, Reliability)
• Shape development processes, design standards, and engineering best practices
• Lead multi-team engineering initiatives from concept through build, integration, and production
• Partner with Process, R&D, Manufacturing, and Equipment Engineering teams
• Coach and mentor engineers across teams and functions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• 10 years of engineering experience
• Prior experience designing or building MOCVD, PVD, or similar semiconductor or thin-film deposition equipment
• Demonstrated expertise in vacuum systems, thermal systems, and precision mechanical design

• Prior leadership of cross-functional technical initiatives
