Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Explore large datasets, research and develop algorithms/models to solve interesting business problems
• Design and code highly scalable, machine learning applications processing large volumes of data
• Collaborate with multiple teams including data science, business, and engineering to deliver ML-based data products
• Develop best practices and tools to enable robust feature delivery
• Design and improve architecture to ensure horizontal scalability at all layers

Requirements

• 6+ years of overall software development experience
• 4+ years of industry experience applying Machine Learning to concrete problems
• Strong background in Machine Learning with deep understanding of algorithms and modeling techniques
• Proficiency in Scala and Python
• Experience with Big Data technologies and ML frameworks such as SparkML, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of distributed systems
• Experience with large scale engineering challenges
