Baton Corporation is the development company that builds and operates the entire technology stack behind pump.fun, the largest memecoin launchpad in production today. The systems are low latency, high throughput, live under constant load, and break if you get them wrong.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve large-scale frontend systems using React and Next.js
• Define and drive long-term frontend architecture strategy while actively implementing critical parts of the system
• Own performance, reliability, and correctness across mission-critical user flows
• Lead the design of frontend systems that handle real-time updates and blockchain state changes
• Establish scalable patterns and abstractions to enable rapid product iteration
• Drive cross-functional architectural decisions with backend and Solana engineers
• Lead multi-quarter frontend initiatives from RFC and design to rollout and monitoring
• Raise engineering quality through design reviews, performance audits, and testing standards
• Improve developer velocity by evolving tooling, build systems, and CI/CD

Requirements

• Proven experience building and evolving large-scale production React systems under real load
• Deep understanding of browser internals, rendering pipelines, hydration, and performance profiling
• Expert proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Strong architectural instincts for designing coherent frontend systems at scale
• Fluency in state management strategies, caching models, and data-fetching tradeoffs
• Ability to reason about distributed systems, consistency, and latency from the client side
• High-agency, execution-focused mindset with the ability to influence technical decisions
• Excitement for high-scale consumer systems and crypto-integrated products
