Senior Staff Finance Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture of Cursor’s finance systems
• Lead and execute complex, ambiguous implementations across Finance systems, starting in Order to Cash
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and RevOps to translate commercial requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Champion AI-forward automation in how Finance systems are built and operated
• Build with a balance of code and configuration

Requirements

• Experience owning complex Finance Systems environments and integrations as a hands-on developer
• Experience implementing or fully owning an ERP or major components of one end-to-end
• Experience working at pre-IPO companies through periods of high growth
• Strong understanding of developer tooling, CI/CD, and maintaining velocity with safety
• Ability to mentor through pairing and building
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
