Senior/Staff Engineer, Liquidity Platform, Private Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and operate the trade and position platform end-to-end, including roadmap, delivery, and reliability.
• Build and maintain connectors to centralized exchanges, counterparties, and on-chain sources using REST/WebSocket APIs.
• Develop and extend Python and SQL data models to normalize trade and account flows across various venues.
• Deliver trusted data outputs for Finance, Operations, and trading desks for reporting and analytics.
• Improve reconciliation workflows and build robust data quality controls with clear lineage and documentation.
• Partner with Finance and Ops teams to translate business rules into testable logic.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in software or data engineering, ideally within trading or post-trade systems.
• Strong production Python skills, ideally with Spark/PySpark experience.
• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in MySQL and PostgreSQL (schema design and performance tuning).
• Experience integrating with external REST/WebSocket APIs.
• Fluency in both Chinese and English.
• A controls-oriented mindset regarding data quality and reproducibility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Celery.
• Exposure to Kubernetes (k8s) for containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms like Iceberg or ClickHouse.
• Experience with ML tooling such as MLflow or TensorFlow.
