Senior Staff Engineer Advanced Quality Engineering

Responsibilities

• Drive FMEA (Design, Process, and Delta) implementation and define quality safe launch control plans for critical product and package development milestones
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality Management (SQM) on audits to validate supplier production processes for new materials and core equipment
• Lead technical risk mitigation and problem-solving within package project teams using design-in prevention and detection methods
• Apply quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to identify and address manufacturing or design defects
• Document and update FMEA, Failure Catalogues, and Control Plans in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and SQM to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Applied Science
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically in package assembly development, quality engineering, or process engineering
• Proven experience driving problem-solving using quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, PPAP, 8D, and 3x5Why
• Intermediate knowledge of FE wafer processes and BE assembly packaging process integration
• Ability to analyze product and package reliability in a comprehensive manner
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical facts and data to stakeholders at all levels
