Senior Staff Developer - Backend

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and microservices.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints to support frontend applications.
• Optimize system performance, security, and reliability for large-scale cloud applications.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, security teams, and DevOps to drive backend innovation.
• Manage databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement security best practices, including authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Guide and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of growth and collaboration.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in backend development, with exposure to full-stack development.
• Expertise in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience working with DataBricks.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and ECS.
• Familiarity with message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
• Familiarity with AI native tools like LangChain and LangFuse.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes/ECS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with cybersecurity products such as XDR, MDR, or SOC.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like NIST or MITRE.
• Strong experience with Git for version control.
