Senior Staff Developer - AI SOC Automation

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy backend automation systems to enhance Security Operations Center workflows using cloud-native and AI-driven architectures
• Build scalable microservices and backend services using Python and Go
• Develop secure, highly available systems on AWS, leveraging services like EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, and RDS
• Design and maintain detection pipelines, incident response playbooks, and intelligent automation frameworks
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities, including large language models and reasoning agents, into security operations tooling
• Drive engineering excellence through architectural guidance, code reviews, and technical mentorship
• Collaborate with threat detection, data science, and platform engineering teams to deliver context-aware automation solutions

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in backend software development, infrastructure engineering, or security-focused systems development
• Deep expertise in automation design patterns, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures
• Proficiency with Python or Go
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
• Proven experience integrating AI or machine learning capabilities into production systems
• Strong understanding of data pipelines and streaming architectures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building security operations automation platforms
• Experience working directly with SOC, threat detection, or incident response teams
• Experience integrating large language models (LLMs) and agentic frameworks into production environments
• Familiarity with detection engineering, threat intelligence, or security analytics platforms
