Senior Staff Applications Engineer

Responsibilities

• Utilize extensive experience with standard MCU peripherals and system resources, including clock trees, timers, PWM, and communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, USB).
• Implement power and performance optimization strategies for embedded systems.
• Work with analog peripherals such as ADCs, DACs, opamps, and comparators.
• Manage multiple volatile and non-volatile memory types and external memory interfaces.
• Apply security principles, cryptographic methods, or machine learning models within embedded environments.
• Perform hardware testing and debugging using multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and bus analyzers.
• Conduct root cause analysis to solve complex technical problems systematically.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional experience in embedded development.
• Proficiency in C programming; experience with C++, Python, or Assembly is a plus.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of both analog and digital circuits.
• Hands-on experience with Arm CPUs (multi-core experience preferred).
• Experience with Embedded Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with embedded graphics or video systems, including compression/decompression.
• Knowledge of advanced communication protocols like I3C, Ethernet, or CAN.
• Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) design, including schematic capture and layout.
