Senior Staff Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support technical marketing through global customer visits to promote products and uncover critical customer needs
• Produce detailed Product Requirements Documents to support the creation of design specifications
• Participate in FPGA-based design prototyping to verify key features and functions
• Work with design engineering to resolve conflicts between requirements, capabilities, and business expectations
• Guide staff in the creation of Applications Validation Plans to ensure corner cases are covered
• Interface with key ASIC suppliers to ensure alignment in product development
• Provide deep technical support and training to advance commercial success

Requirements

• MS in Engineering or a technical equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the power management industry
• Experience with firmware-enabled products and powering large-scale ASIC/CPU/GPU in data centers
• Experience with multiphase DC/DC converters powering Intel/AMD/SoC systems
• Strong knowledge of mixed-signal Integrated Circuits and systems
• Proficiency in control loop theory and its application in power converters
• Proficiency with lab equipment including network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and waveform generators
• Experience with the automation of lab testing
