Senior Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and reconcile financial statements to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Monitor and analyze general ledger accounts to identify and correct discrepancies
• Collaborate with the Corporate Controller to develop and maintain effective internal controls
• Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries
• Perform variance analysis to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
• Support the Controller on various departmental projects and ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and relevant financial regulations
• Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA designation
• Experience in the aviation or related industries
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities
