Senior Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Assistant Controller to drive month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries and perform account reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of internal monthly financial statements
• Review and oversee intercompany balances
• Analyze revenue and expense accounts and explain variances against budgets/forecasts
• Liaise with foreign subsidiaries to complete global analyses
• Assist with external and internal audits and tax return preparation
• Help determine proper internal controls and segregation of duties
• Drive process improvements and system automation
• Administer the company’s travel and expense program
• Research and resolve internal and external inquiries

Requirements

• 4+ years of related experience in accounting or finance
• Public accounting or public company experience preferred
• CPA or equivalent license preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX requirements
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel
• Basic understanding of accounting systems; NetSuite experience preferred
• Undergraduate degree in accounting or equivalent
