Senior SQA Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead structured problem-solving analyses using A3, 8D, and other quality tools from root cause identification to action implementation.
• Act as the primary technical voice for ZF with suppliers, leading critical problem resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and manage supplier quality indicators and non-conformities to reduce customer complaints and reoccurrences.
• Organize and lead cross-functional meetings for failure analysis and action plan definition.
• Plan and conduct technical site visits to suppliers for in-loco analysis and validation of corrective actions.
• Support internal teams in the review and validation of technical quality documents and processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Production, Mechanical, or Mechatronics).
• Advanced or fluent English proficiency.
• Proven experience within the automotive or auto parts industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO9001 requirements (IATF knowledge is highly desirable).
• Proficiency in applying 8D and A3 methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or training in project and process management.
• Experience with automotive components such as brake fluids/pads, clutches, bars, terminals, or shock absorbers.
• Lead Auditor certification.
