Senior Splunk Expert

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Splunk infrastructure including indexers, search heads, and forwarders
• Create and optimize Splunk queries, dashboards, and reports
• Integrate data sources and ensure data quality and consistency
• Implement and manage Splunk apps and add-ons
• Monitor Splunk environment health and perform troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Collaborate with security teams to implement Splunk for SIEM
• Develop automation scripts to streamline administration and data ingestion
• Provide training and support to end-users

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience with Splunk in an enterprise environment
• Strong knowledge of Splunk architecture and components
• Proficiency in advanced Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL)
• Experience integrating various data sources and managing large data volumes
• Familiarity with Python or Bash for automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security
• Experience with IT Service Intelligence
