Senior Spine Animator

Responsibilities

• Animate UI, objects, visual effects, and occasional characters using Spine
• Create clean, versatile, and modular rigs for reuse and easy reskinning
• Help build and maintain a shared Spine animation library
• Offer early input on animation ideas and the best use of Spine tools
• Optimise animations for game performance and consistency across mobile and web
• Deliver animation assets to specification and on time with minimal supervision
• Share knowledge with the wider team and provide mentorship where needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of advanced experience in Spine animation
• Strong understanding of animation principles and visual flow
• Technical ability to build modular, reusable rigs
• Practical experience with Spine tools including skins, constraints, and mesh deformation
• Knowledge of animation performance optimization for mobile and web platforms
• Experience creating UI and object animations
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

Preferred Qualifications

• A strong portfolio demonstrating Spine animations, reusable setups, and optimized exports
• Hands-on experience supporting game designers and working within live pipelines
• Familiarity with casual, mobile, or iLottery games
