About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver speech and language therapy to children with physical, sensory, and developmental disabilities
- Assess and manage dysphagia and feeding difficulties, including excessive drooling
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care
- Contribute to service development, training, and clinical audits
- Coordinate and lead clinics, working consultatively with other lead therapists
Requirements
- Recognised IASLT qualification and CORU registration
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in paediatric disability services
- Proven experience in dysphagia assessment and management
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Full driver’s licence and access to a car
