About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary customer contact to promote Amgen's dermatology products and provide clinical knowledge to medical professionals
- Implement marketing strategies and deliver branded sales messages to drive appropriate product utilization
- Achieve or exceed territory sales targets through both in-person and virtual engagement
- Develop and manage professional relationships, customizing interactions based on customer needs and resolving reimbursement issues
- Analyze business effectiveness and territory data to develop strategic plans with the District Manager
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and uphold Amgen's core values
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field
- OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field
- OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field
- Advanced influencing and relationship-building skills focused on sales outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- More than 3 years of sales, marketing, or clinical experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries
- Experience in dermatology or other specialty areas such as oncology, cardiology, or immunology
- Local market knowledge of the Cleveland West territory
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration
- Proven ability in sales planning, organizing, and communicating with impact
