Senior Specialty Representative - Dermatology

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary customer contact to promote Amgen's dermatology products and manage clinical relationships within the Frederick, MD territory
• Provide comprehensive clinical knowledge of products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization
• Achieve territory sales targets through branded sales messages, planned programs, and both in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop and manage accounts by customizing interactions based on customer needs and ensuring product access
• Resolve or triage reimbursement issues and maintain product contracts
• Analyze business effectiveness and territory analysis to develop strategic plans with the District Manager
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and uphold Amgen's core values

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field
• OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field
• OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
• Proficiency in sales planning and organizing

Preferred Qualifications

• More than 3 years of sales, marketing, or clinical experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries
• Experience in specialty areas such as dermatology, oncology, or inflammation
• Local market knowledge of the Frederick, MD area
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration
