About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary customer contact, providing clinical knowledge of products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
- Implement marketing strategies and deliver branded sales messages to achieve territory sales targets.
- Develop and manage relationships with accounts by customizing interactions based on customer needs and ensuring product access.
- Resolve or triage reimbursement issues and maintain product contracts.
- Analyze business effectiveness, territory analysis, and provide feedback on marketing strategy to the District Manager.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and sustain a passion for serving patients throughout the sales cycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field.
- OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field.
- OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field.
Preferred Qualifications
- More than 3 years of sales, marketing, or clinical experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, or medical device industries.
- Experience in hospital or product sales within specialties such as bone health, oncology, cardiology, or inflammation.
- Advanced influencing and relationship-building skills with a focus on sales outcomes.
- Local market knowledge of the Lansing and Flint, MI areas.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
