Senior Specialist Tax LACAR

Responsibilities

• Lead and review tax reporting packages to ensure compliance with IFRS and global tax requirements for the LACAR region
• Oversee tax compliance matters including indirect taxes, corporate income tax, withholding taxes, and transfer pricing
• Manage tax account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in tax accounting and reporting
• Identify and mitigate tax risks through proactive monitoring and reporting
• Ensure all tax processes, policies, and controls are documented to support SOX certification
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal departments and external tax advisors
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure proper tax planning and compliance

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of experience in tax, with a strong background in compliance and accounting
• At least 3 years of experience working within dedicated Tax Departments
• Experience working within a multinational corporation
• Proficiency in English (high level) for reading, writing, and communication
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or advanced degree in Tax or Accounting
• Knowledge of IFRS and financial controls impacting taxes
• Familiarity with transfer pricing regulations
• Experience in the medical or pharmaceutical industry
