Senior Specialist, Systems Engineering

Responsibilities

• Support digital engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) initiatives
• Conduct trade studies and generate requirements specifications
• Develop functional block diagrams, use-case diagrams, and other technical documentation
• Lead integration and test planning, including the generation of plans and procedures
• Interface with mechanical and project engineering disciplines to ensure system coordination
• Generate and update technical drawings, parts lists, Engineering Orders, and schematics
• Create and present design review materials and manage Engineering Change Orders
• Verify system interfaces and influence team practices and technical approaches

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, OR a Graduate Degree with 4+ years of experience, OR 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
• 5+ years of direct Engineering experience
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance
• Ability to travel as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Underwater Acoustics, Telemetry, Communications, Data Recording systems, or Radar
• Familiarity with DOORS requirements management software
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
