About the role

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows servers, client systems, backup systems, network infrastructure, and databases
  • Build, configure, and maintain physical and virtual Windows servers to support program requirements
  • Perform regular system updates, patching, and hardening activities to ensure compliance and reduce vulnerabilities
  • Provide end-user desktop support for systems and applications at the local site and across the classified WAN
  • Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline deployment and improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver effective technical solutions based on program requirements
  • Communicate complex technical issues, risks, and recommendations to management and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience (or Graduate Degree with 4 years, or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
  • Expertise in networking protocols and security best practices
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Linux systems, including RHEL 8/9, CentOS, and Ubuntu
  • Experience with VMware or similar virtualization platforms
  • Experience with Ansible automation
  • Experience with Commvault or similar enterprise-level backup systems
  • Experience managing systems in compliance with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
