Senior Specialist, Supply Chain Management

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supplier management strategies for Contract and Original Design Manufacturers (CM/ODM)
• Serve as the senior relationship owner for the CM/ODM portfolio with executive-level governance
• Analyze supplier performance data to identify root causes and develop comprehensive improvement strategies
• Lead complex negotiations to optimize total cost, quality, delivery, and innovation
• Partner with Program Management to provide strategic supply chain counsel and risk assessments
• Drive supplier sourcing strategies, rationalization, and portfolio optimization through market analysis
• Lead on-site Kaizen events and capability assessments to drive continuous improvement
• Manage supplier through comprehensive review cycles and monitor financial health and sustainability
• Support proposals with cost modeling, capability assessments, and risk-adjusted estimates
• Requires approximately 25-40% international travel

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience, or AA Degree with 8 years of experience, or Graduate Degree with 2 years of experience
• 10 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Japanese
• Experience with Kaizen events and industrial capability/capacity assessments
• Strong financial analysis skills and business acumen (e.g., business case development)
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Strong communication skills for leading meetings and developing executive presentation packages
