Senior Specialist, Subcontracts

Responsibilities

• Procure critical path components and services to support organizational and manufacturing needs
• Manage subcontracts for assigned suppliers or commodities
• Create and issue various contract types including FFP and T&M
• Lead supplier selection processes, cost/price analysis, and formal negotiations
• Ensure compliance with delivery schedules and follow up with suppliers
• Review and negotiate terms and conditions modifications and End User License Agreements
• Maintain documentation control in compliance with FAR regulations and company policies
• Perform audits of PO files and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
• Or Graduate Degree and minimum 4 years of prior related experience
• Or 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in purchasing within an MRP/ERP driven manufacturing environment
• Proven history of procurement negotiations
• Experience in government or FAR buying environments
• Knowledge of contract terms, conditions, and procurement agreements
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of engineering documentation and product configuration
