Senior Specialist, Science

Responsibilities

• Design, revise, and execute a rigorous and coherent Science curriculum aligned to a multi-year program vision
• Build and improve high-quality lesson materials, assessments, and instructional resources
• Manage school leaders and teachers in improving instructional practice through training focused on student reasoning and mastery
• Analyze implementation and student outcome data to identify gaps and drive targeted improvements to curriculum and instruction

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field
• Deep knowledge of Science as a discipline
• Experience in a school leadership or teacher leader role (e.g., Assistant Principal, Grade Team Lead)
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop others
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Growth mindset and ability to rapidly learn and adapt
