Senior Specialist, Robot Programming

Responsibilities

• Lead paint and sealer standards and best practices
• Train and develop new team members in programming and problem solving
• Monitor application performance and ensure KPIs are met
• Plan and organize application quality to ensure optimal coverage
• Ensure team follows safety protocols and best practices
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Manufacturing Engineering
• Identify inefficiencies and propose process optimization plans
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and optimize efficiency

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience programming robotic Paint and/or Sealer applications
• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Knowledge of Fanuc, ABB, or Duerr robot systems
• Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies
• Experience with process/prog simulation software
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO, VDA, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Project management skills to handle multiple simultaneous projects

Preferred Qualifications

• FANUC Dispense Tool and Paint Tool / Pro experience
• Relevant certifications in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma
