About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead project execution within the process discipline, focusing on the handling and processing of fluids such as CO2, LNG, LPG, and Hydrogen.
  • Manage low-temperature and cryogenic systems, including regasification, liquefaction, reliquefaction, and gas/liquid handling.
  • Act as a process discipline lead on projects when required, while maintaining a "hands-on" approach to engineering tasks.
  • Perform process calculations and simulations using HYSYS or similar software.
  • Develop technical deliverables including P&IDs, equipment specifications, technical reports, process descriptions, and control descriptions.
  • Conduct pressure relief calculations (blowdown), safety valve selection, and vent/flare system assessments.
  • Participate in HAZID and HAZOP studies and ensure process safety through PSD/ESD system design.
  • Provide technical follow-up for equipment and sub-vendors during the engineering phase.

Requirements

  • Master or Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering systems for CO2, LNG, LPG, Hydrogen, or oil and gas.
  • Proven experience in all project phases, from concept development to detailed engineering.
  • Proficiency in HYSYS or equivalent process simulation software.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and class regulations (e.g., EN, ISO, DNV, IMO, API, Norsok).
  • Fluency in both Norwegian and English (written and oral).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with dynamic simulation software.
  • Ability to travel occasionally based on project requirements.
