Senior Specialist, Parts Sourcing

Responsibilities

• Identify and source tiered suppliers for aftersales service parts in conjunction with Purchasing
• Develop service level agreements for procurement of service parts with supplier partners and internal stakeholders
• Monitor supplier KPIs to ensure timely and accurate delivery of service parts
• Interface with the supply base to ensure parts material compliance according to product standards
• Develop processes to monitor and record supplier conformity to product and delivery requirements
• Address procurement plan deviations such as past-due, over-ship, and other non-compliance items
• Ensure availability and timely distribution of body parts by working with logistics and procurement
• Partner with procurement to negotiate and secure parts to meet service needs for 15 years after end of production

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 8+ years of professional experience in Aftersales within the Automotive Industry
• Experience or strong knowledge of ERP, product life-cycle management, EDI communication, and bills of material
• Knowledge of supply chain operations and supplier releasing
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and product compliance standards
• Strong proficiency in AI implementation and management
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to communicate effectively with a global supply base
