About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end NVH simulation development across component, subsystem, and full-vehicle levels
  • Build and execute high-fidelity CAE models to predict vibration and acoustic performance
  • Perform modal, frequency response, and transfer path analyses
  • Develop and apply structure-borne and airborne NVH models
  • Define and cascade NVH targets from vehicle to component levels
  • Lead root-cause analysis and develop simulation-driven countermeasures
  • Correlate CAE predictions with physical test data
  • Partner with design, body, and supplier teams to integrate NVH solutions
  • Drive optimization of damping, isolation, and acoustic solutions
  • Support adoption of AI/ML tools to enhance NVH prediction

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of automotive NVH CAE experience
  • Strong fundamentals in vibration and acoustics
  • Experience with NVH tools such as Nastran, Abaqus, OptiStruct, Actran, or VA One
  • Experience in modal, frequency response, and transfer path analysis
  • Proven CAE-test correlation and root-cause analysis capability
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with electrified powertrain NVH
  • Familiarity with SEA or hybrid FE-SEA methods
  • Experience with Python or MATLAB for automation
  • Exposure to optimization, DOE, or robustness studies
