About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media content strategies aligned with global, brand, and commercial calendars.
- Manage the EM South adidas community by directing conversations and resolving customer queries.
- Create engaging content and copy for both reactive and proactive social media moments.
- Maintain a consistent adidas tone-of-voice across all digital communication platforms.
- Analyze cross-channel performance and present insights to stakeholders for continuous improvement.
- Partner with internal PR, digital, and media teams to execute end-to-end social media campaigns.
- Identify emerging platform trends and consumer behaviors to inform wider team strategies.
- Manage relationships with key technology providers and related social media platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5–7 years of professional experience in social media and community management.
- Advanced expertise with major social media networks including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat.
- Strong understanding of the full marketing mix, including advertising, events, and retail.
- Excellent English communication skills with the ability to articulate messages clearly and sensitively.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in both agency and client-side digital marketing environments.
- Deep understanding of social media trends within the sport and lifestyle sectors.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills.
